Bottom line, this St.Louis native likes to have fun, period! I enjoy helping others have fun. When you create the right "level of fun" others feed off of it. Everyone of my clients has an idea as to what they want their wedding or event to look like, what kind of food that they want to offer, what kind of music to play, but bottom line all of the clients are the same and stress over the easiest part, the fun. Everyone just wants the event to be fun, one that everyone will be glad that they went to. I can help achieve this for you, let me worry about the evening so that you can have fun! Hopefully this gives you an idea as to who and what I am about. Yes, away from the fun for one minute, I did go to school to become a Professional Bridal Consultant so I do have a serious side to me, I do know how to conduct business but even in my meetings with my clients the fun still manages to peek through and surface. I do belong to the Association of Bridal Consultants as well as Central Missouri Bridal Association so I understand the importance of associations which in return benefits all of my clients. This past year I helped form the LOTOWA (Lake Of The Ozark Wedding Association), along with other vendors in the area, to help bring attention to our area for destination weddings. I don't want to get away from the main reason I finally filled this section out, let me remind you that as a "professional" I can still remain business like but let's have fun doing it! Amber Torres, Assitant Bridal Consultant: I get requests froms ladies to intern with me all of the time but this one in particular really shined! Amber came to me wanting to learn everything about the business without any fear of all the hard work and dedication. No matter how hard I told her it was going to be she did not flinch! This is a lady that I will not want to let go so I she and I have decided that she is staying with me! As of January 1, 2010, Amber Torres will be an employee of Simply Elegant. Amber is a Lake Ozark native. She and her husband left the area to live in California for awhile and decided to move back to raise their family. Amber likes to throw parties and entertain and also understands that this is not all glamour all of the time. She has only been with me since 2009 and I feel very lucky to have waited for her to find me! Look for Amber to join me at meetings, promotions and anywhere else I can be found.
